I am no lover,
And I am no fighter,
'Cause I am the holy ghost.
You're digging it deeper,
'Cause I am the sleeper,
I'm sucking upon my host.
It screamed.
The burden we carried,
Until we were buried,
No name is on the grave,
Because I am a demon, helpless I'm screaming:
I ain't no soul to save.
Yeah.
You're always calling it rain...
You're always calling it rain,
Sun is out the same,
You're always caught in a rain cloud.
I think it's starting to rain,
Thunder lightning pain,
I think it's starting to rain,
I think it's starting to rain.
You're a beautiful creature,
You're a beautiful creature,
You're a beautiful creature.
Like the earth is your teacher,
You're a wonderful feature,
You're a beautiful creature.
Get down.
You're always calling it rain...
You're always calling it rain,
Sun is out the same,
You're always caught in a rain cloud.
I think it's starting to rain,
Thunder lightning pain,
I think it's starting to rain,
I think it's starting to rain.
You're a beautiful creature,
You're a beautiful creature,
You're a beautiful creature.
Like the earth is your teacher,
You're a wonderful feature,
You're a beautiful creature.
You're a beautiful creature,
You're a beautiful creature,
You're a beautiful creature,
You're a beautiful creature.
Like the earth is your teacher,
You're a wonderful feature,
You're a beautiful creature,
You're a beautiful creature so-
stay down.
Untouched by man,
The product canned.
The virgin hand.
Remain free.
Animals just like you,
Think you rule the world, problem is it's true.
I'm on my knees, begging you,
Won't you stay?
But you always gotta have it your way.
Cut me down like a jungle tree,
To make small sticks to pick your teeth (Your teeth)
And I'm on my knees, begging you, won't you stay?
But you always gotta have it your way.
I'm on my knees, begging you, won't you stay?
But you always gotta have it your way.
Lord, I'm on my knees, begging you, won't you stay?
But you always gotta have it your way.

I've listened to this album for years and I still don't know what to say about it.
One of the best albums I've ever heard and there are few things that sound so right to me at all much less in their near entirety.
I love this album and I love this band's music. yehoodi

It's the ride... the dynamics of it. Quiet loud. Clean dirty. Fantastic record from top to bottom. Have all 3 versions and great packaging. Can't go wrong with SYC. gt333
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021
A slow drip of Tropicália-infused psychedelia from New Orleans rock outfit Blue Basin: balmy one moment, aggressive the next. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 22, 2022
Big, clanging psych-rock from this Arizona outfit fuses monk-like vocals with slow-winding guitars for songs that feel like strange hymns. Bandcamp New & Notable May 2, 2016

It's not as heavy as you would expect from the melding of these 2 bands. Instead the songs are a complex and beautifully restrained mix of prog and post-rock that should satisfy fans of Pink Floyd and Porcupine Tree/Steven Wilson. A+. jeff1saunders
