Oh I had a dream, a dream that dreamt me,
But maybe it's just my state of mind.
Like cold ice cream on harsh winters day,
I'm crazy it's just another sign.
Oh, it's all in my mind, it's all in my mind,
It's all in my mind.
Oh I had a dream, no not a nightmare,
But baby it comes and goes in waves.
Like hot summer days, still burning your skin,
But maybe this peace comes from within,
Lord, it comes from within,
I said, it comes from within,
It comes from within.
Seething, Breathing
Seeing, Believing,
Breaking, creating,
and it's love I'm not making.
The People are snapping, the building's collapsing,
Your brain is relapsing, insane.
I hope we won't allow you to stand,
Now you have too much power in your hands,
Cowards in Wolf Suits, they're haunting and hounding,
I find it astounding, your chains.
The comfort cosmic womb,
unlocks the clocks and tombs,
your mind is like a spell,
cast yourself to hell.
Oh I had a dream, a dream that dreamt me,
But maybe it's just my state of mind,
It's the state of my mind,
The state of my mind,
It's the state.
Living without a sign,
Exist beyond your time,
making love to mankind,
it's the state of my mind,
It's the state.
I've listened to this album for years and I still don't know what to say about it.
One of the best albums I've ever heard and there are few things that sound so right to me at all much less in their near entirety.
I love this album and I love this band's music. yehoodi
It's the ride... the dynamics of it. Quiet loud. Clean dirty. Fantastic record from top to bottom. Have all 3 versions and great packaging. Can't go wrong with SYC. gt333
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021
A slow drip of Tropicália-infused psychedelia from New Orleans rock outfit Blue Basin: balmy one moment, aggressive the next. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 22, 2022
Big, clanging psych-rock from this Arizona outfit fuses monk-like vocals with slow-winding guitars for songs that feel like strange hymns. Bandcamp New & Notable May 2, 2016
It's not as heavy as you would expect from the melding of these 2 bands. Instead the songs are a complex and beautifully restrained mix of prog and post-rock that should satisfy fans of Pink Floyd and Porcupine Tree/Steven Wilson. A+. jeff1saunders
